Grange School

 On behalf of the children, staff and Governors I would like to offer you a warm welcome to our school website, which we hope will provide useful information and give you an insight into the life of our school. 

Grange is a warm and welcoming larger than average-sized infant school in the middle of Burton - upon - Trent. We have high expectations of everybody in our school. The children and their futures are at the centre of all that we do and we encourage all of our children to ‘Reach For The Stars’ to be the best that they can be. Our REACH values are the main focus of everyday life in school, we talk about them in assemblies, in circle times, and throughout our learning journeys. Through our values - Be RESILIENT, ENJOY, ACHIEVE, Be CREATIVE, Be HEALTHY, our children learn how to be effective learners and kind and helpful members of the school and local community. All of our pupils are encouraged to develop as individuals, so that they can fulfil their own personal potential, whilst at the same time recognise and celebrate each other’s differences.

At Grange we have a hard-working and dedicated team who have high ambitions for all children. Through our inclusive curriculum, we encourage children to challenge themselves, learn from their mistakes and work together to succeed and achieve.  We work hard to build positive partnerships with parents as we believe this encourages the child to be the very best that they can be and helps to inspire a life-long love of learning.

Grange is an Academy and part of a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) called the Central Co-operative Learning Trust (CCLT) which work towards providing the highest standard of education for children, staff development and community cohesion. At the end of Year 2, our pupils transition to another school within our Trust, Burton Fields, which is the local Junior School.
