School Council

Our school council play a very important role in our school. At the start of the year, classmates vote for two children from each class to act as representatives on the school council . The councillors listen carefully to pupil voice within their own classroom and then meet with staff to discuss issues and share ideas and opinions.

Year 2: Bella, Ewurakua, Iggy and Logan

Staff also invite selected pupils to meetings to ensure that all groups of pupil are represented.

Our school council provide a meaningful way in which our pupils can voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions that impact upon them. The school council helps to improve many aspects of school life.

Recently, school council have shared ideas about our school values, after school clubs, helped to decide on new library books and voiced opinions about lunchtime routines.
