Safeguarding
Our school is committed to developing a robust safeguarding culture of vigilance and challenge and we fully recognise our responsibility to follow the procedures set out by Staffordshire Safeguarding Children’s Board, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024. Our safeguarding policy can be found in the Policies section of our website.
At Grange our role is to: -
- Provide help and support to meet the needs of children as soon as
problems emerge - Protect children from maltreatment, inside or outside the home,
including online. - Prevent impairment of our children’s mental and physical health or
development. - Ensure that our children grow up in circumstances consistent with
the provisions of safe and effective care. - Take action to enable ALL children to have the best outcomes.
If you are concerned about the safety or welfare of a child, then please speak to Mrs Cox, who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead or Mrs Middleton or Mrs Spencer, who are the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
